Discouraging Children from Tampering with the Home Alarm System
<!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } -->
Your home alarm system can be your best means of preventing break-ins and robberies. It's proper function is key to a thoroughly considered protection unit. If certain elements are not working properly, then you jeopardize the safety of your home, your valuables, and your family. That's why it is important if you are living with small children, that you teach them not to tamper with your home alarm system. Disciplining very young children can be difficult, and especially when trying to emphasize the importance of not doing something. However, this will prove to be a necessary action that homeowners must take if they plan to have a properly functioning unit.
As many of these units require small parts and technological tools in order to work properly, you'll want to have a clear understanding of the fragility of these components. Small fingers poking at sensors and toys banging into control units can completely obliterate the functionality of your home alarm system. These tools are designed for your protection, and although their durability has improved by great strides in recent years, most components are still not at a point where they can endure this kind of poor treatment. That's why parents must make a point of teaching their children that safety does not come easy, and their tampering with these elements will put the family more at risk.
Some home alarm systems have components that have been developed to withstand more trying conditions. Surveillance cameras, for instance, are often protected with waterproof encasements in order to withstand outdoor conditions. Motion sensors of many kinds have also been developed to endure difficult conditions. Still, intentionally tampering with these devices can easily destroy or damage them. A sling shot propelling a rock at such a device is something that most developers did not consider when they created these innovations. Thus, it is vital that parents tell their children that aiming at the surveillance cameras with their slingshot will put them at greater risk of being kidnapped. Kidnapped children don't have access to sling shots, and will have an even more difficult time getting one after their parents are forced to pay a hefty ransom for their safe return. Though making an extreme example out of the possibilities can be frightening, it is often the best means of drilling a point home with disobedient or unknowing young people.
More than simply discouraging young people from tampering with home alarm systems, it is necessary that the fundamentals of respect for technology and other fragile goods be taught to children from a very young age. One thing is the cost of these technological devices, which can often be very high, but an entirely different and equally important concept is that a lack of respect can undermine the effectiveness of these devices. When the safety of you and your family is on the line, instilling the good behavior and respect that electronics deserve will certainly pay off in the long run.

how do i shoot my sling shot with maximum accuracy without hitting my face?
ok so i have this sling shot and i want to shoot it with as much accuracy as can be but i have to shot the sling shot right of my face with a tilt and i, 3/6 times, make the shot (or less). so if there is a better way can anyone help me?
If you are hitting your face with the slingshot, you must be holding it wrong. The proper way for a right handed person to hold a slingshot is to place the handle of the slingshot in your left hand. Place a projectile in the pouch with your right hand and extend your left arm straight out. Pull the pouch with the projectile straight back to your right cheek just below you right eye. Look between the forks of the slingshot with your right eye to aim and when you are on target, release the pouch and let the projectile go. If you do it this way, neither the pouch nor the bands will contact your face and you will have the slingshot in such a position that you can sight it at your target with some accuracy.

HUNTING WEST TEXAS 2010: Bowhunting turns whitetail season into challenge
Isaac Denson had buck fever. His heart was beating fast and he was shaking. A wide antlered, mature 9-point buck was standing just twenty yards away. He had never taken such a buck and yet, for some reason, decided not to draw his compound bow. He took a chance that an even bigger deer might come his way.
